Survey
is a special list which has some limitations as well as great way to interact
with the audiences with respect to feedback on anything example- if we want to
implement any new process, introduced any new technology etc. Feedback's are
very important and that’s SharePoint has this amazing list which is termed as
Survey List.
Today,
in this article we will learn as how to create a survey list in SharePoint
2013:-
Let

Let’s begin-
1)
Open
the SharePoint 2013 site collection

Site
actions
3)
Add
an app
4)
Advanced
options
5)
Give
survey name as per your requirements
6)
In
survey options, adjust the settings as per your requirements
7)
Next
8)
Now
imp sections- start preparing your questions and enter it one by one
9)
Another
imp section i.e. column validation ( answer is valid/not, formula etc)
10)
For
multiple questions, please click on additional question
11)
Once
you are done with the questions then click on Finish.
12)
That’s
it- your survey will be created.
Imp Note:
This
is regarding permissions- Those who are planning to invite to respond to this
survey, they should require contribute permissions to participate. If they have
contribute permissions at the site level and this survey list is carrying unique
level permissions (i.e. not inherited from site level permissions) then they
will face problems. So the bottom line – please check the permissions at the
list level too.
