What are people using to design custom forms in SharePoint? We have used InfoPath and recently we purchased a Help Desk package from SP Marketplace and that template uses Dynamic Forms. I have heard that InfoPath is going to be discontinued (whatever that might mean) and I am wondering what others are using to create custom forms...including tabs with fields that show up based on choices...any ideas, suggestions, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks to all.

Infopath will definitely be there all the time and its getting powerful day by day with each office version. Microsoft Office Infopath 2010 and Infopath 2013 - awesome products and custom forms designing is very easy. Infact you can customized the SharePoint list using infopath forms in a flexible manner.

Yes Infopath 2013 is last version of Infopath but Microsoft is working on new type of form and migration plan for infopath.
ReplyDeleteAs per Microsoft we can still continue using infopath.
